Northeastern Illinois University's Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership, Equity & Inquiry is NEIU's first doctoral program, designed for educators, community leaders, and organizational change agents committed to advancing equity, justice, and innovation in education and beyond. Rooted in NEIU's mission of access and excellence, this practice-focused program prepares you to lead transformative change in schools, organizations, and communities across Chicago and the region.

As a scholar-practitioner, you will develop advanced skills in leadership, research, and equity-centered practice — applying theory directly to the real-world challenges you face in your professional context.
